A Peek in the Diary of Kate Moss

June 10: Kate gets bored and emails Mert (Alaş, one half of the legendary photographer duo with Marcus Piggott). 
‘Any ideas for spending a few days at some exotic location?’
June 11: Mert emails back inviting her to their upcoming exhibition in Istanbul.  ‘Let me entertain you.’  
June 12: Kate accepts and in between, arranges a W shoot while she’s in the city.  
June 13: Babysitting for Lila Grace arranged at the last minute, Kate’s all ready to go.  
June 14: Mert calls Carine (Roitfeld, editor of French Vogue) and invites her too.  She accepts, as long as she can smoke wherever she wants.
June 15: Marc Jacobs, Gisele Bündchen and Björk join the crew—with their portraits, if not in person. 
June 17: The exhibition opens at Galerist, with a big bang party at Esma Sultan following.
June 18: Kate leaves.  Mert (and Marcus) fly to his Ibiza home for summer to do gardening and eating mantı.
