Off the List
L’ist İstinye Suites
Ms. Z, financial director of a multinational food company, had been planning her dream home since she was 4, when she drew the first picture of the mansion in which she planned to spend her life.
She knew where it would be located (İstinye), how many floors it would be (a garden or roof duplex would suffice for a single girl like her, to begin with) and what facilities it would have (horsing, golf and shopping—top class sports for a top class girl).
For the next two decades, she would find herself lost in daydreaming about the place, until one day it became a reality in the form of L’ist İstinye Suites.
They had the location: İstinye (check).
An inspiring architecture: Mostly duplex flats with wonderful sea view, designed by famous architect Ömer Çavuşoğlu (check).
And facilities to die for: A riding centre, a golf club and İstinye Park shopping centre, all just round the corner (check).
Determined to grab one of the remaining few suites out of the 150, Ms. Z. reached for her Omas gold fountain pen and started to note the following:
