Passion for Fashion

IMA Opens

You’re a fashion addict: You know that Miu Miu is an object of desire and not ‘Hello’ in cat language.

You spend half of your waking time talking about how to be stylish, cool and connected, and the other half actually being so.

…And you hate your job.  Then, why not consider a career change in fashion?

Istanbul Moda Akademy (or IMA in short), which’s just opened this week, is a heaven on earth for all those fashionistas amongst you who take guilty pleasure in swooning over a D&G dress or a Manolo Blahnik shoe.

IMA courses are offered in colloboration with the famous London College of Fashion; and have titles like ‘How to Do Vintage’ or ‘Luxury Brand Management’.  All are short, with most lasting a day or two.  (And some are run in English.)

For more serious addicts, the school offers 8-week-long training on design, drawing, sewing techniques and how to put together a mini collection.

Let this be the first new year resolution which you actually keep.

IMA, Tesvikiye Cad., No.158, Nisantasi.  0212.296 13 78 or ima-destek.com.
