Run for Your Life
Nike Plus Human Race 10K
Running for the first time in a race is a bit like teaching your little nephew/niece how to ride a bike: you start with the best of intentions, but ten minutes into the job, you realise the enormity of what you got yourself into and flee (out of the park, the course, the race, etc.)
To make things a bit more motivational for the couch potatoes amongst you, Nike organised a human race to be run at the same time all over the world on the last day of August.
Run in one of the 24 greatest cities on earth from London to Lima (including Istanbul), or round up your gang and run locally where you are.
It’s a small step for you, but a massive leap for your eighth-grade PE teacher who gave up on you when, seeing your pathetic score for a 100m run, she had to double check if her chronometer had stopped.
Nike Plus Human Race 10K takes place on Sun., 31 Aug. Click here to sign up for the race or go to nikeplus.nike.com for more info and to find a participating city in the world.
