L.i.b.r.a.r.y R.o.o.m Tapas Bar
Question: What’s dark, inviting and speaks to you in hushed tones?
Answer: A library. But, hey, things are about to change.
L.i.b.r.a.r.y R.o.o.m, which opens today, is a new concept bar set within the new Kitchenette in Bebek, also opening its doors as we speak. Designed like a posh gentleman’s club, the scenary is reminiscent of charm and elegance with a bit of quirkiness provided by stylish mock (and real) books.
Get your pals and ‘book’ the party room; a private space separated by beautiful glass separators (and a nod to the building’s past life as a jewellery store and, before that, a foreign bank).
Or sit at the bar area and enjoy the delicious tapas served from Kitchenette: tasty finger-food ‘bites’ or simple buffet-style dishes make the meal. All the while perusing the books, or the girls/the guys (or both). While there, also check out Kitchenette’s twin brother, the new beau in town, Baronette, located on the first floor.
Their specialty? ‘Liberry’ Smoothie, of course(!).
