Someone who defies logic is also someone who gets his/her own way a lot. Example:

There’s nothing terrorising though about Mr. Cigar and his gang of hand-knitted friends by Atölye Afra.
A cosy studio in the backwaters of Cihangir, Afra is a place for vintage furnishing, upholstery, knitting, sewing, art and other therapeutic pursuits—like paintings by Burcu Rona, which complete the picture.
Mr. Cigar (pictured here with his son) was created by Aslı, who, together with her business partner Azra, transforms anything she touches into something unique at Afra.
When they have time from playing with toys, Aslı and Azra turn their hands to fantastic makeovers of 50’s furniture. You take a picture of your old chair or sofa to their studio, and they help you choose a fabric from their fantastic collection (all hand-picked from markets and one-off) to give it the ‘wow’ factor—courtesy of their loyal furnisher Reso and furniture maker İbo, so you don’t have to lift a finger.
