Bir Bufe, a new little cafe opening in Sumahan today is a wonderful place serving healthy snacks and drinks.
In line with the latest buzz around local produce, the bread comes in the shape of sourdough from Bolu; and the vegetables are supplied by local farmers.
Don’t even ask for a can of Coke: they don’t stock it. Instead-and this is where Bir Bufe concept becomes clear-you get the delightfully retro Camlica soda pop.
Located in a historical building with views over Golden Horn; and with a new art gallery by Beral Madra as the next door neighbour, it’s bound to attract an achingly hip crowd.
