The Meaning of Life
Expressive Arts Therapy Workshop
Mrs. Doodles (your 1st grade arts teacher): So, tell me about this ‘masterpiece’ of yours.
You: It depicts a bridge between my inner and outer self through understanding the generic pattern of my reactions to events and people around me.
Mrs. D: Come again?
You: I mean I’ve been to Songül Vardar’s Expressive Arts Therapy Workshop and had a ‘Eureka’ moment.
Mrs. D: Meaning?
You: Songül’s a multi-talented artist offering counseling and self-development coaching. She uses painting, dance & movement, music, drama, story-telling and other expressive arts as a means to get the best out of you.
Mrs. D: A bit new agey to my taste.
You: Come on, Mrs. Doodles. You always said ‘There are no problems-only opportunities to be creative’, remember?
