While Stocks Last
Stock 60-70 Vintage Shop
You have a keen eye when it comes to ‘old stuff’—whether it’s a YSL vintage cocktail dress, a scruffy Chanel bag picked up at a garage sale, or a 60-year-old fat cat with a sizable bank account.
Then you’ll love Stock 60-70, the new vintage shop in Çukurcuma.
The place, which opened only two weeks ago, ‘stocks’ 50’s, 60’s and 70’s furniture and lighting: think of iconic retro diners, Bauhaus-inspired chairs, quirky clocks, accessories and many more unique items. Plus works by local and foreign artists.
The brains behind Stock are three designer/architects. Fulya, İliç and Öykü (Thurston of the felt shop art.i.choke) had long been dreaming of a vintage furniture store-cum-gallery like the ones they always kept going back to on their travels abroad. On the pipeline is a collection of 70’s original wallpapers, along with Öykü’s ready-made felt designs.
At Stock, everything’s handpicked by the owners, so there’s only one of each item and the authenticity is ‘second’ to none.
Second hand, that is, but never second best.
