American myths are plenty.
Yet there’s one unrefutable fact coming from the land of Super Size Me, and that’s Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, which opens its very first branch in town in three weeks.
Sold first in 1930’s through groceries in North Carolina and based on a secret recipe bought by Vernon Rudolph—the founder—from a French chéf, ‘Hot Original Glazed’ and other sinful tastes have been on the food agenda for all the right and wrong reasons.
But how do they put the jam into the doughnut?
That’s one myth for you to figure out.
