Best known for the dress they designed for Kylie Minogue on her 40th birthday bash in Istanbul last year, the impossibly flirty label Matin Berenjian is the work of two minds: Metin Birinci and Ömer Özcan.
The duo’s newly launched SS 09 collection is another testament to their fondness for silk and glitter. Being a curious mix of street-fashion-meets-haute-couture, each Berenjian piece is cut in limited number and hand-stitched meticulously by their seamstresses.
Get a trenchcoat in metallic fuchsia to wear over an unstructured charcoal one-piece. Or pick up a lace number and accessorise it with a cropped vest.
Then go and see the lover boy.
