How to Work It Out

Central Pilates Studio

You and the gym have a love and hate relationship.

You’re made to do push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups, chin-ups; but all you can do in the end is ‘throw-ups’.

It’s that time of the year when new year’s resolutions are made and gym memberships shoot up.  But this year surprise yourself by choosing a training programme that you’ll love to follow (and a friendly gym that won’t put you off after a first few visits).

Central Pilates, a brand new studio in Suadiye, aims to do just that.

Reformer, Cadillac, Barrel and other equipment—which sound more like torture devices, but are in fact internationally-recognised tools of trade—are used during training.  You’re guided by two very helpful people, Deniz and Hakan, who set up the studio and are themselves certified trainers of pilates.

A typical session includes lots of muscle streching exercises and breathing techniques targeting to relieve built-up stress in the body area worked out.

Grand Dad Joseph (Pilates) would so agree.
