Yiğit Yazıcı, who exhibits with his Hat Art Fruit label at Art Basel’s satellite event ART ASIA starting today, is a truly modern artist. With an enormous portfolio of works, expositions, and an array of art media, the future is looking bright for this maverick.

Yiğit has an obvious lust for life and this radiates in his playful approach to everything from painting and photography, to events and functional art. His ability to bring unique beauty and brilliance to all objects and areas of life from yacht sails to Starbucks walls (the one in Bebek is his), purses and pots of tea, is second to none.  A contributing factor to his visually exciting and limitless artistic expression is his great deal of self analysis and awareness.
