Atölye Onbir Workshops
You’ve been on a workshop EVERY weekend since third grade.
You did drums playing and scuba diving (sometimes at the same time); tried your hand—and feet—in Romani dance, and took up Russian with much enthusiasm. (Only to quit in the first hour after seeing the alphabet).
Finally, coming to your senses, you’re now ready to try something a bit more ‘conventional’, like painting.
Which is where Atölye Onbir comes in. Located in Moda-Kadıköy, the studio was set up by two Mimar Sinan graduates, Erkin and Sevil, to offer courses on painting and illustration for every age and level.
Try the painting course, which runs every weekend (or Tuesday/Thursday during the week); and learn all about sketching, techniques like watercolour, acrilic, and composition; sprinkled with bits of art history.
Or go for the illustration workshop and bring out that witty character in you by learning about deformation techniques and character design.
