Species Name: Surfer

Natural Habitat: Commonly found in Australia, California, Hawaii, New Zealand and many other coastal areas. 

Shared Characteristics: Pot smoking, sun browned skin, messy hair and Billabong clothing.

 

Differentiating Characteristics (from a poser/pretender surfer): The 4 a.m. skilled activity and the happiness to carry a 3-meter luggage anywhere in the world for the right mix of wind and water.

 

Recent Activity: As the fastest windsurfers around the world unite for the wet and wild global gathering that is the Pegasus Windsurf World Cup and Surf’N Sound Music Festival this week, the spectators will head to Alacati for a weekend of sea, speed, sun, songs ….. oh and the 45,000 Euro prize money is also up for grabs.  Representing Turkey is Ertuğrul İçingir, Bora Kozanoğlu, Enes Yılmazer and Ali Palamutcu, and in the girls corner we have European champion Çağla Kubat, plus Lena Aylin Erdil, Gül Tercan and Melek Toraman.
